Spotlight PS1: First Person Shooters

One of the most frustrating things I hear coming from modern gamers is this idiotic belief that all the games on the PS1 were either overrated or crap. Seeing as I own nearly 200 games for Sony's original grey box, I know better. The problem is most people never went below the mainstream titles that the system had to offer, so when they talk about how "crappy" the PS1 is, they haven't even scratched the surface of the system's library of games which is massive, and varied. This has led me to make the decision to spotlight the various genres that the system has to offer, and show games that some of you have probably never even heard of, or played. This is a compilation of my recent reviews. I previously uploaded them individually on their own on my channel. Also, after this upload, I will be taking a break from making content to focus on some other things in life. Nothing bad, video making just eats up a ton of time. If something comes up that I find truly inspiring, I'll make a video about it. Other than that, this will be my last upload for a while. Donkey Kong Country Review (Snes)

Here's a game that needs no introduction. Unless you were living under a rock, or a Sega Fanboy, there's a very good chance that if you didn't own this game, you definitely rented it, or played it at a friend's house back in the day. Donkey Kong country set new visual standards we could never imagine were possible on the 16-bit consoles thanks to Rare's ingenious idea to take 3D models created on silicon Graphics workstations, and digitize them into two dimensional sprites for the Super Nintendo to handle. Thus creating graphics that looked light-years above anything we had seen on any of the 16-bit consoles. If everything else in the fourth generation was 16-bit, this game had to be at least 17-bit. Donkey Kong Country was more than just pretty graphics. On top of it's shiny visuals the game showcases fantastic level designs putting Rare's development talents on full display.
